A heritage Coogee residence reimagined through considered restraint and editorial precision. This project demonstrates design-led styling that complements architecture rather than competes with it. Working within a refined palette of soft neutrals, blush accents, and tonal layering, we curated an interior that honours the home’s materiality while introducing contemporary luxury through intentional furniture selection.

The styling approach prioritised flow and scale. Rather than filling space, we orchestrated negative space, allowing light to move through rooms while letting the developer’s vision remain the focal point. Velvet dining chairs in warm taupe anchor the dining spaces with understated luxury, while jewel-toned occasional seating in olive green and timber introduces depth without visual noise. Each piece was selected for purpose: upholstery chosen for both tactile quality and visual weight, proportion considered against the volume of each room, lighting designed to shift throughout the day. The result feels lived-in yet curated, a space that acknowledges the home’s heritage while speaking the language of contemporary coastal living.

This project reflects our broader approach to property styling: thoughtful, design-focused and grounded in how spaces are experienced, not just how they appear. Furnishings work in conversation with marble surfaces, sandstone walls, and the spatial volume of each room – each piece layered to build depth through texture and tone. We built richness through considered material pairing and intentional curation, allowing quality over quantity to define the aesthetic. The home now reads as a cohesive interior where every element has earned its place, creating a sense of curated calm.
