Caringbah South Residential Interior Design

One of the most rewarding experiences for a property stylist is seeing happy clients return with a brief for a new, inspiring project. For this three-bedroom South Sydney abode, our team were called on to curate the airy interiors that would become this family’s “dream home”.

The clients had tapped on BOWERBIRD in the past, for two separate Property Styling projects that created a strong emotional connection with buyers and delivered a successful return on investment. Convinced by the power of property styling to showcase a home’s finest features and ensure the sales listing stands out, they soon realised that it’s also important to feel inspired by the property you own.

Our Interior Design team was sent out for a consultation, to look over the architectural details of their residence and envision a design direction for the duplex. Flicking through the BOWERBIRD lookbook, they landed on our signature Light Coastal palette to fit the brief.

The homeowners had a clear vision for the project – to create aspirational spaces with a coastal aesthetic, somewhere between classic and contemporary. They’d even taken to a mood board to map out the look, with neutral tones and individual pieces featured, such as woven bed heads and baskets alongside draped linen throws and aqua scatter cushions. 

It was up to our interior designers to bring it all together, creating a professionally-styled look and weaving in personal pieces in the process. Staying close to the desired Hamptons beach house vibe, they opted for wicker bar stools, light oak tables and vases filled with fresh greenery.

Equipped with a colour palette of creams, beige and pops of ocean shades, our designers lent into the abundance of natural light in the space, using framed mirrors to amplify it. They positioned rattan armchairs against textured rugs and accessorised with decorative shells, landscape prints and statement lamps to complete the look. 

These breezy, boho interiors perfectly captured the Light Coastal concept and thrilled the homeowners. They were not only blown away by the airy ambience, but the level of comfort reached in transforming their property into a modern seaside sanctuary in Caringbah South.
