We recently had the pleasure of styling a project for one of our Commercial Residential clients, property developer – Sammut Group, tasked with curating spaces that inspire a lifestyle for potential buyers. As we stepped through this project, each space we entered became a field of creativity. With over 1,000 projects per year, we’ve mastered the art of connecting people to place, but seeing this space in actuality, this project, in particular, became a moment where our role as a designer, stylist, creative, believer, and visionary became a simple task.
With the front yard hugging the ocean at Cronulla Beach, and the design finishes playing a part in bringing the environment indoors, married with luxury cabinetry, hardware, materiality and a neutral colour palette, this gave us a canvas to draw inspiration. We chose to work exclusively with MCM House on this project, whose furniture perfectly wedded the Interior Design and our Coastal Luxury design direction, using natural materials, organic textures, and neutral colourways.
We very much envisage the buyer to be someone who appreciates the indoor/outdoor lifestyle, who swims in the mornings, pushes their front gate open, heads straight for the coffee machine with the doors onto the balcony wide open, their wet salty footsteps sinking into the raw timber ‘decking style’ floorboards, needing an endless variety of seating opportunities to sip on the morning brew, with the paper in hand. The result is a relaxing, warm, authentic, elevated coastal vibe.
Throughout the property, we’ve used shades of soft whites, sandy beiges, and calming blues to enhance the natural light that floods each space, creating a soothing and inviting atmosphere. Our commitment to authenticity has been highlighted in this project, from the outdoor living, to the indoor living, kitchen, entry, home office, primary suite, entertainment room, and the neighbouring bedrooms, we have really maintained and reflected not only the values of this property but the values that matter most to us.
This Property Styling project, SEA By Sammut is a great example of a Commercial Styling project we’ve supported the developer to inspire a lifestyle for a potential buyer, elevating all the design elements with the curation of furniture and accessories that help to illustrate a home, not just a house.
