Located in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant Barangaroo precinct, 2 Watermans Quay offers a sophisticated retreat that reflects the geographic significance of this world-class waterfront destination.
For this interior design project, we were tasked with fully furnishing the property to suit both short-term accommodation and the owner’s personal use when staying in the city. Having previously worked with this developer to fit out an entire block of Bondi apartments for short-term accommodation, we were delighted to once again bring our expertise to create a space that balances luxury with functionality.
The design direction was crafted to mirror Barangaroo’s urban landscape, renowned for its high-end developments and luxury accommodations. Our approach was contemporary and elevated, featuring a refined palette of khaki, neutrals, and dark hues, creating a rich and inviting atmosphere. Glass, stone and metal elements were incorporated throughout the space, adding a layer of sophistication that spoke to the area’s reputation for cutting-edge design and modern luxury.
Key furnishings were selected not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their ability to serve both short-term guests and the owner’s stays. The resulting design is a true reflection of Barangaroo’s luxurious urban landscape, offering a seamless blend of comfort, style, practicality and flair in a city setting.
