It’s a wrap! BOWERBIRD reflects on a big 2019
It’s that time of the year for us at BOWERBIRD to reflect on all our hard work and give ourselves a humble little pat on the back.
The last 365 days have been filled to the brim with collaboration, innovation and opportunities to adapt to an ever-changing market. Here’s what got up to… we can’t wait for 2020!
The dream team got dreamier (and team-ier?)
Styling up a storm just wouldn’t be possible without the energy and ethics of our passionate team. Our growing BOWERBIRD family has welcomed new Design & Relationship Managers, Stylists and Logistics team members, Warehouse workers and Marketing executives (Editor’s note: Hello!). Each play a vital role in running this well-oiled machine. And speaking, of well-oiled, keep your eye out for BIRD05 on the Sydney roads, our brand new BOWERBIRD truck.
We ROCTT out to our values
This year we chose to direct our focus upon our culture and values. It just so happens that they form an easy to remember acronym – ROCTT (Resilience, Ownership, Curiosity, Trust and Team). Halfway through the year, our team made their way to Hotel Centennial for a day of inspiration and activities. The day consisted of brainstorming, synergy and a sprinkle of friendly competitiveness. But most importantly the team walked away inspired!
BOWERBIRD Black in numbers
In 2018, we introduced BOWERBIRD Black to the market. This year we were proud to open our no-risk offering to all agents, allowing anyone to have their home styled without upfront payment. If your property doesn’t sell, you don’t have to pay us a cent. The numbers speaks for themselves – we have a 91% success rate and properties spend an average of 40 days on the market. So far, we’ve risked over $1 million dollars in styling “cost” (cost in inverted commas because we actually believe its a return on investment exercise) and we’re ready to risk more so you don’t have to.

Leave removals, storage, flooring, painting and cleaning in our expert hands. No more chasing tradies (because nobody has time for that!).

You might have noticed some changes to our website. While we loved our website, we decided to give it a refresh, because that’s the name of our game, right? Plus, our new home is easier for you to navigate and packed to the rafters with updated resources.
